Professor Alan Widgerow is a plastic surgeon with over 20 years of private practice experience and academia. The past president of the Association of Plastic and Reconstructive surgeons of South Africa, and a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine, Professor Widgerow is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Galderma, and the head of Alastin Innovations. He has authored two books, and written in over 190 publications.
