Teena Mackenzie is a prominent figure in the field of dermatology nursing, serving as the Consultant Nurse Dermatology Lead Education and Development Nurse for the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BDNG). Her expertise extends to psychodermatology, where she is currently undertaking an MSc in Psycholoy, Mental Health and Wellbeing. Mackenzie is also a Principal Investigator for BADBIR and AStar, and she sits on the executive panel. She has recorded over 75 podcasts and has chaired numerous events, showcasing her active role in the professional community.
